Renewal and Standard Tariff

We'll email you 30 and 60 days before your minimum term ends with: your new Standard Tariff price and the best re-sign offer we'll make you. No tricks, no dark patterns.

How we change prices

Once a year, in April, we review the Standard Tariff. Any increase is applied only to customers on the Standard Tariff (not on a minimum term). We write to you 30 days before the change and you can leave penalty-free if you don't want to accept it. If you are within your minimum term, we increase the price of our broadband services by £4 a month each April unless the service has Broadband Assurance.

How we calculate Early Termination Fees

If you leave before the end of your minimum period, You'll pay an early termination charge for the remaining months of your contract. We calculate it like this:

1. Take your monthly price (excluding VAT and any introductory discount).

2. Multiply by the number of full months left in your minimum period.

3. Deduct 55% to reflect the wholesale and third-party costs we no longer have to pay because your service has ended.

4. Add VAT.

If we've provided you with equipment (such as a router or WiFi pod), we'll ask you to return it within 30 days of your service ending. We'll send you a pre-paid returns label. If the equipment isn't returned, or comes back damaged beyond fair wear and tear, we'll charge the depreciated value of the equipment — see the table in our terms. Worked example: You're on our £30/month plan with 6 months left. The charge is £30 × 6 = £180, minus 55% saved costs = £81, plus VAT = £97.20.
